Advertising on the PRCI Website

The PRCI website is currently accepting banner and button advertising. Banner ads appear on every page on the site. See the bottom of this page for an example of a banner ad. Button ads are smaller and appear in the columns and bottom of each page. (see lower-left on this page).

Why Advertising Works on The PRCI Website

Online advertising works on The PRCI website because the Web and the Internet are mediums that PRCI members are comfortable using. Many subscribers of The PRCI website have been advertising on the Web from several years, many going back to 1993 when the Web was created.

The Way Banner & Button Ads Work

Banner Ads A banner is created that is exactly 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels high. You can supply the banner or have one created for you. The banner is then circulated through various pages within the PRCI website. Your banner can be linked to your own website. If you do not have a website, we can provide hosting services so that your information appears on the PRCI website. For an example, please click here.

Button Ads A button is created that is exactly 120 pixels wide by 60 pixels high. You can supply the button or have one created for you. The button is then placed in the columns and bottom of every page on the website. Your button can be linked to your own website. If you do not have a website, we can provide hosting services so that your information appears on the PRCI website. Please look at the button ads to the left for an example.

Advertising Rates

Banner Ads The cost for banner ads is as follows (includes monthly reports on impressions and click-throughs):

General Banner Ad - $200 per month per ad slot - $500 for three months per ad slot or $1500 per year per ad slot. General banners appear on all pages except the home, search results, and current poll pages. The banners are placed to target specific demographics.

Home Page Ad - $500 per month, 3 month purchase. Home page ads appear on The PRCI website home page and include a general banner ad slot that circulates through all other pages on the site. An ad slot in our forum area is also included.

*Any advertiser purchasing a 6 month ad run or 2 ad slots for 3 months will be listed in The PRCI website Sponsors Page.

Button Ads - $100 per month. Appears in the columns and bottom of every page on the website.

Business Affiliation Sponsorship - $20 per month. Each sponsor includes a short message (up to 100 words) in the Website Sponsor's webpage.

Click Through Pricing. Click Throughs are the actual times a client will click on your banner to be linked to your website. These are charged at $.25/click

Impression Pricing - Impression pricing pertains to banner and button ads.

Run of Site - Banner ad appears in all areas of the website.

• $17 per 1,000 impressions for purchases of 10,000 or more impressions.
• $15 per 1,000 impressions for purchases of 100,000 impressions.

Run of Category - Banner ad appears within a selected category or keyword, such as "Training".

• $16 per 1,000 impressions for purchases of 10,000 or more impressions.
• $14 per 1,000 impressions for purchases of 100,000 impressions.

Special Remnant Ad Pricing - You may buy remnant (unsold ad inventory) ads at a reduced rate of $13 CPM. However, there is no guarantee that any ads will be shown and you must be willing to purchase up to 100,000 impressions each month. Ads are shown on an as needed basis.
